Today was a day for hiking, a 20 minute walk to the mainbeach, another 10 minute walk to the main entrance of Noosa National Park. The Coastal Walk Track, alon the ocean was my adventure today. I wasn't even walking for 15 minutes or I saw a snake next to the path. He was lying in a sort of palm/cactus tree. I didn't dare to look through the telescope, I only took a picture. So everytime when I saw the same tree along the track and that were many. i made myself as small as I could and I made my way criss, cross over the path. Suddenly I saw something moving in my left eye corner, so I was scared to death. When I had a good look at it, I saw that it were just 2 wild turkey's. I'm such a chicken ;-).
On my way, I saw so much wildlife, it was amazing. the birds so colourful and the small lizards crawling up in the trees, so cute. 3 hours later I arrived at sunshine beach. I decided to have a swim but the waves were high and the big jelly fishes were to close by, that I got out of the water. Back on the beach, I didn't lasted long either, it was so hot!! Had to got to the toilet, so I decided to move on. The sand was bloody hot, I was jumping around, to give my feet some fresh air. It must have looked funny. I think that people who walk over hot coils are crazy. After the toilet break, I got lost and finally found my way back on the Tanglewood Track, that leaded me to the headquarters of the National Park. At some point there was a sign that it was another 2,2km. It took forever I can tell you that. I was again all by myself and this traick was in the middle of the forest. I was thinking they will find me, if not today, then tomorrow. Hahahaha. Around 15.00pm I was back at Noosa National Park entrance. I bought myself a Callip and enjoyed it, till the last bit. At 17.45pm I was back at the hostel. It was a really good day, but exhausted as well. Didn't feel like cooking, so I treated myself with chicken parmigana and a cider. It was something different for a change, because in a week time I only had eaten meat when I ate the Banh Mi. Further then that I only had eaten vegetables, fruit, noodles and pasta. Still I'm gaining weight though. I was satified about the day, hoping that tomorrow would be a great day too. maybe taking the canoe out on the river, or hire a bike. don't worry no Pacific Highway anymore.
25-01-2014
Took the canoe out on the Noosa River. I paddled around for 1,5 hour. The weather wasn't that good, so I went back tot the hostel. Slept for 2,5 hours. At 17.00pm I went for a walk along the Noosa River. The sun was out, the clouds were beautiful and the birds were lovely. they were flying up and down, making crazy noises, I tried to capture them in a photo, but it didn't work out that well. At 19.00pm I cooked myself dinner. The first time that I cooked rice in a pot again. It was "OK" rice. After my yoghurt I went for a small walk to call my sister for her birthday. So all who forgot her birthday, now it's time to write it in your agenda's ;-). When it got chilly outside I went back to the hostel. Together with Christina and 2 other girls I was playing Uno again. It started a little bit to rain, so we moved under the parasol, but then out of nowhere heavy rain splashed on us. Everyone outside was running to find a safe and dry place. It was hilarious!!.
Australia Day the 26th of January was a beautiful day. Christina and I spent the whole day on the beach. It was very busy, with families. Even though the hostel was fully-booked, there was no one around in the evening, so I had the kitchen for myself. It was nice.
On the 27th of January Lena (girl from Austria) and I went to the National Park and walked the Coastal Walk Track together. At Hell's Gate view, we saw a Sea Eagle flying, not far from where we were standing. It was incredible. We past Alexandria Bay, also known as the nude beach and after that we saw a massive spider in the bush. Through the telescope the spider looked even more bigger and scary then with the eyes. On our way back to the entrance of Noosa NP we found by accident the Laguna Look Out. No change we would miss that one. The view was spectaculair. We saw the skyline of Noosa. At 15.15pm we got back at the hostel. We were to lazy to walk home, so we took the hostel shuttle bus. At 21.00pm I was in bed, the next day I would leave Noosa for Rainbow beach.
28-01-2014
got the bus at 09.35AM from Noosa and arrived in Rainbow Beach at 12.15pm. Pippies backpackers hostel was right across the busterminal. I checked in, stationed my stuff in the room. Dorm Rock 'n Roll would be my home for the next 5 nights. The only esciting thing I did that day was going with the sunset tour. Not really a tour, but we walked up to Carlo Sandblow to watch the sunset and for those who wanted could go sandboarding. Sadly enough no sunset, because it began to rain and it was to cloudy to see the sun. Though the view to the ocean was great, so going up there again is worthwhile. In the evening I met a couple from Germany: Lena and Fabian. We connected very well, it was nice. At 22.00pm I went to bed.
29-01-2014
Got up at 07.00AM for free breakfast. but it didn't start until 07.30am. I ate quickly to go for a walk at 08.00am. I wanted to see the coloured path, but I ended up at Carlo Sandblow, so I decided to do a walk through the Great Sany National Park. Double Island Point Northern Beach would be 10.8km. That would be about 2 hours and a bit, one way. Let's see how far I would come....... I was again all by myself. I was a bit scared. I heard so many weird noises. Some from birds, some from lizards and others from insects. Sometimes I heard from both sides, left and right noises or movements. Thankfully the animals/insects didn't showed themselfs. At a certain point I saw a sign that showed me it was 3,4km back to Carlo Sandblow. What in 40 minutes I walked only 3,4km!!!! Shit, another 7.4km to go :-). The path that would take me to the Northern Beach was so freaking narrow, that I thought ones, twice........ and after the fourth time I decided not to go any further. I was really dissapointed, but still I didn't went further. On my way back to Carlo Sandblow I met a older guy, a year of 67 I think, cause he walked that track everyday, so he must have a bunch of free time. He told me that he only met a few tourists on that track, and mostly men by themself. He asked me if I had seen a black snake or a goanna. Are you kidding me??? He saw them very often on the track he said. I was back in no time. hihihihi After Carlo Sandblow I went to the beach. On the beach I found the coloured track. Because there were no signs, I kept walking till the 40km sign. The colours of the cliff were beautiful. Yellow, red, orange, black, grey, lila, white. It was low tide, but I wasn't sure. Cars were passing by, so I waslked a bit further then the first 40km sign. I walked as far as I could see the second 40km sign. I couldn't see what was behind the next corner, and I was not planning to put my life at risk, so I walked back to the hostel. On my way back to the hostel, I past a bakery. I went inside and bought myself a steak and field mushroom pie. It was a delicious pie, so good!!! At 14.00pm I was back at the hostel. I didn't really do that much in the afternoon. In the evening I ate potatoes with cabbage. I forgot to buy milk and butter, so I thought it would be awful. But it was actually not that bad. I made a dish that was so huge, that 2 people could eat from it. Half way, the dish didn't tasted that good anymore. I took the last bit of my Feta&Spinach creme and dipped the food in there. I finished the whole plate and eat yoghurt as dessert.
* Since today I'm full of mosquito bites again, pretty annoying.*
* Then another thing: this morning when I walked towards the Sanddunes I saw footprints. Because it had rain the whole night, I knew this person was walking just before me. the length in between one and the other footstep was huge. I was thinking by myself, " what kind of person would that be??" I was trying to make as big steps as that person, but I didn't even came close. " Oh my God, I'm tall....... what kind of giant would that be??" I didn't felt that safe anymore, but I kept on going anyway. When i reached the top, I understood were the footprints came from. There was a guy RUNNING up and down. IT WAS JUST A GUY RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE PATH!!! Hahahaha.

Pretty lazy day this morning. Breakfast at 08.00am, then walked around and organised some thing. Bought another steak and field mushroom pie. Twice as delicious as yesterday. I slept in the afternoon and made myself dinner at 20.00pm. Played cards with some people and went to bed early.

Morning was the same as every other morning. The day was so boring, that I went to the hairdresser to let my hair cut shorter. It's fresh again. The day was a really rainy and windy, maybe because of the cyclone up north.
February the 1st. Christina and I woke up very early. At 04.30am we would meet each other outside. We walked to Carlo Sandblow. Well I actually walked and she jogged. We watched the sunrise at the Sandblow. The colours were beautiful and it was so quiet up there. The wind was massive though. At 06.15am we were back at the hostel. I guess it was 07.00am, when we saw the first people coming out of there dorms. At 07.30am I had breakfast. After that I went to the Tribal Shop to write my first blog. Next to me sat a man named Lee. We got in a Conversation and he asked me for lunch. We went to the bakery and bought a pie. " You think you guys know which pie I bought right????" With the pie we headed to the beach. We talked about everything and nothing, it was nice and spontaneous. For me that was enough so at 13.00pm I went back home and for the rest of the day I was lazy. At 17.00pm I went up tot the Sandblow again to watch the sunset. the sunset was beautiful. It was very windy and cold though, but the colours were great. The clouds were all over the place, except in front of the sun. It was spectacular and maybe even better then the sunrise that morning.
The second of February was an Ultra Lazy Day next to the swimmingpool at the hostel. At 14.00pm I had the briefing for the Fraser Island tour. It took 3 hours, because we also had to get food with the group. The first group where I was in, had 7 persons, the second group 6 persons . I was the third wheel, because the rest were doubles. Because of the brefing, shopping and making our lunch for the next day., I missed the amazing, fabulous sunset at Carlo Sandblow. So sad, sad, sad............
In the evening I played shithead with Christina, Lena, Fabian and some other people. It was fun. At 22.30pm I went off to bed.
* Forgot to tell you that Lena and I saved Pippies. We put them back in the ocean. pippies are shells with living creatures in it. They are good for bait.
* I also forgot to tell you that this morning at the swimmingpool, I saved ants who were floating in the pool. I took them out of the swimmingpool and put them on dry land, they then dryed there wings and flew off. The third ant was not that lucky. I saved him and then by accident I threw him to the ground. He was dying!

Got up, had breakfast with Lena, it was so nice. 08.30am Group 1 and 2 of the tour had to gather around. At 09.15am we were on our way to Fraser Island. At the Inskip Point we took the ferry to Fraser Island. Our first stop was Lake Mackenzie. The water was so shallow and clear, green and blue. The sand was totally white. Brett our tourguide told us that the sand is similar to the sand in White Heaven at the Whitsunday's. It's good for your skin, and your hair. It was really beatiful up there. Sadly the wather wasn't helpful. There were a lot of showers and ones we had a massive rain dropping on us for about 10 minutes. We swum and played in the Lake. We ate wraps at lunch time and after lunch we went to Central Staion, to read about the history of the place and we read information about the different kind of wild animals, forests and seasons. We had a small walk in the rainforest and before we went back to our campingspot, we went to see the Maheno Shipwreck. At 17.00pm we were at our campingspot. We made diner and ate, but when I was still eating everyone stood up and cleaned their plates. They didn't come back, so I was sitting there by myself. At that moment,lI felt so fucking lonely. I stood up and joined the second group. My emotional side overloaded me and I couldn't hold my tears. Only the Norwegian girl saw it, thankfully. After dinner I took a stick, my pyjama, bathroom stuff, a torch and the bathroom key. We had a whole briefing about safety tips to not walk alone, because of the dingoes. But because I was the 7th person and the 13th person and all by m yself, nobody joined me. I felt so lonely, so I didn't care about the dingoes anymore. " They could eat me alive" ! I took my time in the lovely hot shower and proper toilet. On my way back, I got lost. It was so dark. I got on the right parh, but fear overloaded me. Oh I was scared. When I got back, the whole group was playing a drinking game. I didn't join them, because I didn't wanted to go to the toilet at night. Because I was the only individual person on the tour and the campingspot only had twin tents, I had to sleep alone in a tent.
04-02-2014
Woke up in the middle of the night, slept only 2 hours. The people were so noisy! Was thinking about going to the toilet, but I fell back a sleep. Woke up at 02.00pm, the last drunken people went to bed. Thought about going to the toilet, but I fell a sleep again. 04.00am woke up, had to go very badly to the toilet, but I was so afraid to go in the dark, that I held it up. I couldn't sleep anymore. I waited 1 hour before I took my torch and a stick to walk to the toilet. 05.10am I let my piss " on hold" go. It was fantastic!!! Because I couldn't sleep anymore I went with a stick in my hand to the beach, to see the sunrise. The sunrise was lovely. I stayed there for about an hour. There was only one car who passed by. It was so quiet! I was looking to the sky, the ocean, the small crabs and I had an eye on the dingoes who might came out of the bush. Around 06.00am I went back, took a shower and made breakfast ready. The first people got out of their tents at 07.00am. They were surprised that someone made breakfast ready. " Are you serious??"
Our first sightseen of the day was going to be the Champagne pool. It's called the Champagne pool, because of the high waves that hit the rocks and then the water transforms in bubbles that look like soap or champagne bubbles. The second stop was Indian Head. Normally you could see a lot of fishes, sharks, turtles and manray's from the rock, but because the ocean was so restless, we saw nothing. At Eli Creek, we could go floating in the water. The water was really shallow, so you could also walk through the water. It's natural spring water, quite impressive. I only went ones, cause I read the information sign afterwards and there could be a snake in the water. Even though it would be a non-venomous snake, it's still a pretty scary animal.
Our last sightseen of the day was Lake Allom. Brett took us there because we were with a small group. He took us to the middle of nowhere. The ride took 30 minutes, but looked like forever. We drove through sand and forest. I smashed my head a couple of times against the roof of the car. We were not able to drink, eat, or eat proper out of our noises ;-). I hope you have an idea of how we sat in the car, it was fun though. At lake Allom, we saw many small turtles in the water. We were watching them, but they were looking right back at ya. they were funny and lovely.
then the same bumpy road back to our campsite. We made dinner, the same as the day before. BBQ and pasta. After dinner we played a drinking game, I was pretty tipsy, cause I lost many times with being the Dealer (card game). At 23.00 I went to bed and woke up at 01.30am, because it was toilet time.... I was still tipsy, so I took the key, the stick and my torch and walked to the toilets. I was back in no time, didn't even get lost. Fell straight back a sleep.
The next morning at 06.30am I opened my eyes. It was such good weather, but the only thing I was thinking about, was that I had to get up in 30 minutes. At 07.00am Brett turned the music on, waking up went easily. At 08.30am we wved our campsite goodbye. Lake Wabby would be our only sightseen stop for today. We had to walk 40 minutes through loose sand and forest to get there. Everyone went immediatetly in the water, but I also jumped straight out, when I saw a catfish swimming by. But I wanted to let the small fish eat my deadskin away, so i got straight back in the water. the small fishes didn't like my feet, so I turned around. A bunch of small fishes swam directly to my butt. They like my butt better then the rest of my body.
It was a beautiful last day, but I was glad the tour was over. I had no connections what so ever with the group. There was not much of a group sharing. The nature was beautiful and the birds were awesome. I saw a lot of huge sea eagles and other eagles I don't know by name. Through the telescope I had a good look at the structure of the wings of the eagles. So impressive!! At 15.15pm I was back in Rainbow Beach. Thanks to Brett I had a good time, he was so outgoing and easy. Thank you Brett!
After sorting out my things, I went directly looking for Lena and Fabian. They were hiding in their tent. Watching Hang Over 3. I was so glad to see them both. They are lovely people, I really missed them. They both joined me when I went eating outside. I treated myself with a large Italinano Pizza. Not the cheapest one, but absolutely fabulous. Gladly Lena and Fabian were glad to see me too. They cheered me up. Thanks guys!!

Writing the blog day. Not an exciting day, except for the evening. Fabian, Lena and I played shithead, then Yatzee, then the Hangman and as last we played drawing movie titles. It was so much fun. The best activity of the day. I slept great.
Well people it's today the 9th of February and i'm stationed in Airlie Beach. The weather is really bad, not really cool, but it's the way it is. Since a week and a half I have reception again, so glad, cause i kinda promised some people that I would call them, but because I had no reception I couldn't.
Further then this massive update I have no news.
Hope you are all good and have a lovely day!
Take Care.

Hey lovely people, thank you for your comments. Aunt Jet, I need to tell a exciting story, at least for a bit, because otherwise it's so boring to read. :-). Lena don't worry, I tried to call you yesterday, but will try tonight again. Hope you're doing fine!!! I took a lot of photo's, but yesterday I deleted some of them, by accident. They were so nice, oh i'm so stupid!!!! Any way the delete button and the security button are so close by each other. Well mom, I noticed you didn't know it was me, a lot of people have that when I call them. I didn't see any olympic dutch people, but i know we had 2 days ago. 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medailles. Tomorrow i'm heading of to Magnetic Island. Maybe i have no reception, but we'll find out soon.
Take care!!!1

Ans In Hobart:
Hoe is Magnetic Island? Ik weet niet eens waar het ligt, schande! Ga je nog snorkelen daar?
Geniet maar van de zomer. Veel plezier met al je avonturen, groetjes, Ans
