Hello everybody a new story here, the second time that i have to write it grrrrrrrr any way enjoy reading!
On the 24th of march i took the train from Noto to Siracusa and from Siracusa straight away to Napoli. It took me 9 hours to get to the mainland and around 20.00pm i arrived at the youth home B&B. I had to walk 3 levels up, can't say i'm much fan of stairs anymore:-). Any way a small asian woman opened the door, we call her Emily from now on. She and her husband, who we call Alex are from China and are the owners of the B&B. They are always standing at the door if guests are going outside. They give advice, to be careful, to hold your bag in the front etc.. I was almost saying; thanks mom, see you later dad ;-)
With Shoko, a girl from Japan i went to see the volcano at the National park Vesuvio. The volcano was nice, but the way how we got there was the best part. First a crowded metro to Ercolano, after that a local bus to the start downhill. Then we walked 7 km up, another 2 km for the office, to buy an entrance ticket and another 1km to the volcano. We didn't stop walking and were dead on the top. We also walked all the way back down, we waited for the local bus, who we had no idea of when it would drive by. When we saw the bus and the same busdriver, we jumped up and we were so happy!! We entered the bus for free, went back in a crowded metro and at 18.00pm we were back home, totally wrecked.
With our sisters (girls in the room) we went out eating pizza at this famous place, where Julia Roberts had eaten a pizza for the movie: Eat Pray Love. A movie where i almost walked out of the cinema, because it was so boring. At this pizza place, named L' antica Pizzeria da Michele, there is every day a que outside. You can only choose out of 2 pizza's though. Magherita and marinara. I don't think it was the best pizza though, and we had to wait forever outside aswell inside, but it was a good night out with the girls.
With Easter, known as Happy Easter everything was fully booked, so a Taiwanese girl and me slept in the same room as Emily. Alex slept in the kitchen. With the 3 of us girls we did the macarena dance, it was fun! It took Emily a while to join us, because she is very shy! Alex is very funny and his humour is dry, just like me hahaha. Both of them they really care about you as their guests and the asian breakfast is lovely. Bye bye cookies and sweets!
The only thing i didn't like is there was no kitchen and they didn't gave you a key, so everytime you had to ring the bell to come in to the b&b, so for me it was a no go to go out in the evening, otherwise i had to wake them up.
When i left Napoli, Emily and Alex gave me a Chinese good luck thingy, so sweet! And Alex brought us to the busterminal, joking i could stay another night for free gna gna haha. Probably they will never read my blog, but i want to thank them, for the great welcome feeling and that they shared their small private area with me. So thanks to Emily and Alex for their great hospitality!
From Napoli to Florence took 6 hours by bus and when i arrived i was really happy! Green!! Parks!! Jeej!! The hostel Santa Monaca was huge, so not the best place for me to get in touch with people.
The first day i went to the lookout over the city. Also known as piazza of Michelangelo. Then some church S. Monte, where i also sponsored the community of Lautari.it. It's an organisation for drugs addicts. I was in a generous mood. From S. Monte i crossed the bridge and wandered around the city. The cathedrale took my breath away. Amazing! Long ques were standing outside in the square. The cathedrale inside was nothing special though. Would it be worth it, to buy a combined ticket for the Baptiste, Campanille and museum dell Opera??
Next day, wednesday: worth it! The baptista was the best.
My last day in Florence, was outside all day long. I went to the Boboli garden, the Giardini garden, the museo degli Argenti, who was gorgeous! The gallery del Costume wasn't really interesting, but it was situated in the Pitti palace, so i stared at the ceiling.
Well i must say, my first story was much and much better, but i can't remember it haha, what age do with you ahum ahum!

In mijn mailbox kwamen 3 berichtjes van jou binnen: Asian Hospitality, Italy en Mainland. Geen van allen via outlook te openen. Ik heb je alleen kunnen benaderen via Google en nu zie ik alleen het bericht Mainland staan. Rara de wereld van het internet !
Leuk verhaal over mom and dad in Napels. Is toch heerlijk voor mij om te lezen dat je bewaarengeltjes hebt. Fijn dat je veel van Italië kunt zien enne ... trek je niks aan van die macho mannen.

Hallo Lai vanuit Buinen,
Bij ons ongeveer hetzelfde verschijnsel met de berichten als die van Mom. De laatste (deze dus) kon ik echter wel gewoon openen; no problemo.
Leuk je belevenissen te volgen. Het gaat dan bij mij ook altijd wel een beetje kriebelen; ook willen reizen, dingen zien en beleven en leuke mensen ontmoeten. Heb nog veel plezier en op naar het volgende avonturenverslag.
